Note for all Families, welcome to Florence!

Thank you so much for your interest in Florence Parent Day. We’re excited that you will be accompanying your student during the first days of their time abroad!

Please accept our warm invitation to stop by the Florence Study Center on Arrival Day, Monday August 24th, between 9am and 5pm. It's a wonderful chance to say hello, see the space where your student will be studying and building community this semester, and help your student feel confident as they meet their on-site team.

We also encourage you to join our virtual informational events running throughout the summer. Many families find these a great way to feel fully prepared even without an on-site visit. You can find the full schedule at vertoeducation.org/family-resources.

Join us on-site for Verto Parent Day! This special opportunity allows you to experience your student’s world abroad and connect with the community supporting them. Hosted by our on-site team alongside members of the Verto Headquarters team, the day will offer a meaningful look into the Verto experience.

Please note that we will host 2 sessions of Parent Day - Tuesday August 25 and Wednesday August 26. Please choose 1 of the days, and note that we have limited capacity for each day.

The tentative schedule includes a welcome coffee, a guided tour of the study center, informational sessions with Verto staff, and an experiential activity in the surrounding neighborhood. While students will be fully engaged in Discovery Week programming during this time and will not attend Family Day events with you, the day is designed to give families insight into the academic, cultural, and support structures that shape your student’s journey.

Programming will conclude around lunchtime, leaving you free to enjoy your afternoon in Florence independently while your student continues participating in Discovery Week activities.

Your ticket confirms your spot for Parent Day. Please purchase 1 ticket per attendee, with a maximum of 2 attendees per family.
