About Vertical Healing

A program, proudly sponsored by .

Vertical Healing is a rock-climbing program designed to help Veterans, First Responders, and Trauma Survivors heal through movement, challenge, and community. Climbing offers more than physical activity. It builds trust, resilience, and connection, helping participants reconnect with themselves and each other one handhold at a time.

This program is free for all Veterans, First Responders, and Trauma Survivors. No climbing experience is required, whether you've never touched a wall before or you're a seasoned climber, you're welcome here.

What to Expect

  • A supportive, judgment-free environment led by experienced instructors
  • All necessary gear and instruction provided
  • A chance to connect with others who understand the journey of recovery
  • No pressure, no competition, just movement, breath, and progress at your own pace

Who This Is For

Veterans, First Responders, and Trauma Survivors of all backgrounds and experience levels. You don't need any climbing background, just a willingness to show up.

Our Mission

Vertical Healing is a program of Combat Recovery Foundation (CRF), a Colorado-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans and their families through evidence-based recovery programs. We believe healing happens in community. Let No One Fight Alone.

Special Thanks

We're grateful to KMAC for sponsoring this program and helping make it possible, free of charge, for those who've served and sacrificed.
