Whether you’re stepping up to the mic or simply coming to soak in the energy, this is a space for authentic expression, connection, creativity, and good vibes.

Artist Performance Guidelines:: To keep the energy and flow of Verses & Vibez aligned with the theme, all artists and performers are asked to follow these guidelines:
🎤No singing or rapping over pre-recorded lead vocals. Instrumentals only, for singers and rappers. SN: you DO NOT have to perform an original song(s)
🎤Songs must match the Open Mic theme and the Neo-Soul Vibez/ positive atmosphere.
🎤Spoken-word artists: Please memorize your pieces so you can fully connect with the audience and your expression.
💃🏾Themed dancers: We have performance slots available for sensual, African, and expressive dance that complements the atmosphere of the event.
🎶Music submissions: Please send your performance music to [email protected] ahead of time, or bring your music on a USB drive.
📒Performance slots are limited, so artists interested in performing should sign up in advance.
