Who is the Tutor?Rebecca Lucas
Rebecca has 20 years of experience teaching and a lifetime of experience making clothes. Before being a teacher, Rebecca worked as a freelance children's wear designer and has also worked for M&S! With this sort of resume, you know you are in capable hands.

What will you make?
You will be making the Verona Jacket from Tessuti Patterns. A easy to wear, cropped jacket for confident stitchers.
Size range UK8 - UK18/20 let us know which you will need
Cropped, boxy jacket features extended shoulders and a peaked hemline at the front,
Learn all about front shoulder darts
Two-piece bracelet-length sleeves.
Stitched in boiled wool with exposed seams
What is provided?
Your own sewing machine and the knowledge of how to use it!
We provide the pattern, but you will need to pick it up before class to pick it up. If you have any questions about fabric requirements or sizing, please feel free to ask any of our incredibly helpful staff in-store. Hot and cold drinks, plus cake!
What will you need?
Fabric is not provided in the cost of this class. You will need to come with your fabric pre-chosen, but cutting out is one of the skills you will learn on this day course. Designed to be made in boiled wool.
You will need to bring glasses if you wear them, and an extra layer of clothing if you feel the cold. Our shop is very old, and we heat it to run upstairs and downstairs, not sitting and stitching! There will be a 30-minute stop for lunch, so we recommend you bring something to eat.
Where is it?
This workshop takes place on the first floor of our beautiful CoolCrafting shop in the heart of Kendal, just off the historic Market Place. Please be aware that the only access to our first floor is via a staircase. There is no lift.
