'Inauthentic?' A KMF Fringe Event

We are ALINE. Our goal is to support Outdoor Professional Creatives and create a community where we can learn from each other, support each other, and strive to create positive change in our industry. We’re building a platform where creatives and brands can communicate constructively, balancing the needs of all. 

Who is this event for? At ALINE we want to bring together those involved in the creative process – the filmmakers, photographers, writers, artists, illustrators and more – together with the creative decision makers in publishing, at agencies, and within outdoor brands.

Our aim is to work towards a more equitable outdoor creative community. Through meaningful and transparent dialogue, this is just the start of the movement. 

This panel discussion, held during Kendal Mountain Festival, is about transparency in the outdoor industry. Featuring photographer and writer Veronica Melkonian; Sidetracked magazine founder John Summerton; Lyndsay McLaren, co-owner of the outdoor agency All Conditions Media; Justin Cader, Senior Marketing Manager at adidas Terrex; and hosted by filmmaker Rachel Sarah.

We’ll talk about how disruption can work toward positive change, the importance of building relationships, the perception of power in the industry, and more. 

The panel discussion will last one hour, with a 30-minute social afterwards. 

All ticket proceeds will be used to pay the speakers.
