Pragovka Gallery vás zve na výstavu Martina Nytry a Ivy Davidové Killing the Flowers Won’t Delay Spring (14. 5. – 20. 8. 2026). Vernisáž proběhne ve středu 13. května od 18 hodin.
Společná výstava autorstva Martina Nytry a Ivy Davidové je motivována jejich sdílenou vášní a citem pro rostliny jako vnímavé bytosti a zároveň s jejich aktivitami guerillového i klasického zahradničení. Autorstvo se na výstavě v Pragovce tématicky zaměřují na propojování rostlin a architektury – téma biofilního designu je řešeno právě i v oboru architektury. Iva Davidová a Martin Nytra jej ovšem řeší nikoliv představováním návrhů reálných budov s tvaroslovím odpovídajícím současným architektonickým trendům, ale poeticko-pohádkovým vizuálním jazykem, v němž propojují estetiku animovaných pohádek s problematikou reálné environmentální krize, v níž se nacházíme. Jejich modely domů (upravené z domečků pro panenky) prorůstají „plevelné,“ ale zároveň léčivé rostliny, jakými je například smetanka lékařská. Domy a města chápou Davidová a Nytra jako potenciální biotop, o němž by takto měla uvažovat i samotná disciplína architektury.

Pragovka Gallery se nachází v přízemí 1. zálivu E Factory. Objekt je od centra vzdálen 15 min. Metro B – Kolbenova, tram – Poštovská.

Pragovka Gallery invites you to the exhibition Killing the Flowers Won’t Delay Spring by Martin Nytra and Iva Davidová (May 14 – August 20, 2026). The opening will take place on Wednesday, May 13 at 6 PM.
The joint exhibition by Martin Nytra and Iva Davidová is inspired by their shared passion for and sensitivity toward plants as sentient beings, as well as their engagement with both guerrilla and traditional gardening practices. At Pragovka, their project focuses on the relationship between plants and architecture—an issue also explored within the field of biophilic design. However, rather than presenting proposals for real buildings shaped by current architectural trends, Davidová and Nytra approach the subject through a poetic, fairy-tale-like visual language that combines the aesthetics of animated storytelling with the urgent reality of the environmental crisis we are living through.
Their house models (adapted from dollhouses) are overgrown with so-called “weeds,” which are at the same time medicinal plants, such as dandelion. Davidová and Nytra understand houses and cities as potential biotopes—a perspective that architecture as a discipline itself should adopt.

Pragovka Gallery is located on the ground floor of the 1st bay of E Factory. The building is 15 minutes from the centre. Metro B – Kolbenova, tram – Poštovská.
