Rádi bychom vás pozvali na zahájení výstavy Timeline.Galerie představuje výjimečný projekt, který propojuje monumentální cyklus kreseb L’Homme et la Terre (1904–1907) Františka Kupky s díly mezinárodní skupiny současných umělců. Výstava, koncipovaná francouzským kurátorem Nicolasem Bourriaudem ve spolupráci s Barbarou Lagié, rozvíjí mezikulturní dialog mezi francouzským geografem Élisée Reclusem a Kupkou na počátku 20. století, kde se propojují teorie a obraz.
Kupkovy kresby jsou zasazeny do širšího kontextu současných uměleckých přístupů a otevírají prostor pro úvahy o proměnách sociálních struktur a ekologického myšlení.
Výstavu doprovází rozsáhlý katalog s texty kurátorů a esejí historičky umění Markéty Theinhardt.

We would like to invite you to the opening of the exhibition Timeline.
The gallery is pleased to present an outstanding project that brings together the monumental drawing cycle L’Homme et la Terre (1904–1907) by František Kupka with works by a cohort of international contemporary artists. Conceived by French curator Nicolas Bourriaud, in collaboration with Barbara Lagié, the exhibition expands on the cross-cultural dialogue between the French geographer Élisée Reclus and Kupka in the early twentieth century, where theory and image converge.
Kupka’s drawings are situated within a broader context of contemporary artistic practices, inviting reflection on evolving social structures and ecological thought.
The exhibition will be accompanied by an extensive catalogue featuring texts by the curators and an essay by art historian Markéta Theinhardt.
