Venture For Hope

is an in-person community event presented by, bringing together attendees, families, students, and community members for a day of learning, advocacy, and meaningful local impact.

This event is designed for the public to come and experience powerful presentations from participants across three streams: Discovery, Advocacy, and Venture Impact. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore research projects, hear important stories and ideas, engage with presenters, and witness community-minded proposals that aim to create benefit in the greater Edmonton area. Whether you are coming to learn, support someone presenting, connect with others, or be inspired by new ideas, Venture for Hope is a space to reflect, listen, and take part in something purposeful.

At the heart of Venture for Hope is the belief that hope should move people toward meaningful action. The Foundation for Inspiring Hopefulness is grounded in the pathways of education, mentorship, lived experience, and the gift of presence. Through this event, we hope to platform participants who are learning deeply, speaking with purpose, and building ideas that can serve the community.

Participants may apply through one of three streams:

Discovery Stream
For those who want to research an issue and share what they learn.

Advocacy Stream
For those who want to present on stage and strengthen their communication skills.

Venture Impact Stream
For those who want to pitch an actionable idea for greater local impact in the greater Edmonton area.

Funding awards may be available for selected Venture Impact participants. All presenter applications must be submitted through the Venture for Hope website.
