DAWN CHORUS, BFRIENDLY & THE GARLINGE THEATRE invite YOU to a night of fun and frivolity... vegan-style!Get ready for an unforgettable night with Dawn Chorus, the multi-award-winning comedian and animal rights activist, who's become a fan-favourite both on and off the stage. Known for her quirky sense of humour, bold music parodies, and unique no-holds-barred activism, Dawn (voted BEST VEGAN COMEDIAN at The VegFest Awards 2024) will have you laughing, singing, and thinking, all at once!
She’s joined by musical icons and festival LEGENDS, BFriendly, who will be bringing their own brand of sunshine reggae music, vibrant energy and anecdotal humour to the stage. The vegan reggae duo is the latest brainchild of internationally acclaimed musician Ian Haywood who, amongst other acts, is a concert pianist, a multi-tribute artiste and a member and writer with chart band 'Peace on your Plate'. BFriendly have just released their 4th album, 'Be Animal Friendly' and perform witty songs about life, love, animal activism and the environment, all wrapped up in a singalong style that’s sure to have you smiling (and dancing) all night long!
Come celebrate the joys of life, while standing up for the voiceless, in a show that brings together the best of comedy and music, all with a focus on animal rights and veganism. It's going to be a night to remember!
Food and soft drinks will be available. The venue does not sell alcohol. You are more than welcome to bring your own, although we do appreciate vegan drinks where possible (there is a small list on this website - https://viva.org.uk/lifestyle/living-vegan/vegan-alcohol/ ). All we ask is that you leave a small donation for corkage (there will be a tub/bucket at the theatre).
30% of the night’s proceeds will go directly to The Retreat Animal Rescue Farm Sanctuary in Kent, supporting their incredible work in saving animals and raising awareness.
