Vday Ski day (meet up)

Join Queer Mountaineers for a ski and snowboarding meetup event at Steven Pass and meet new folks to ride with!
This is a meet-up style event! All participants are responsible for their safety and must adhere to all posted rules and etiquette of Steven Pass. Prior skiing/snowboarding experience is required. This is not an instructional event and no lessons will be provided. All levels are welcome. Participants must provide their own equipment and lift tickets.
We will be out on the mountain rain, snow, or shine so please pack for the weather accordingly. The event will only be cancelled if the weather is severe or mountain conditions seem unsafe.
Meeting location!
We will meet at Woodinville Park & Ride at 10:30am (https://maps.app.goo.gl/cgzKTgF5aTrwM6gKA). We will organize carpooling from there.
Gear Needed:
-skis & poles or snowoard
-ski/snowboard boots
-helmet & goggles
-base layers, mid-layers/fleece, snow pants/bibs, waterproof jacket, waterproof gloves
-water
-snacks/lunch/money to purchase food at the lodge
-Recommended: neck gaiter/scarf, extra layers

Gear Needed: Participants need to bring their own skis, boots, poles, adequate warm layers, softshell layers, snack food, and water.

A follow-up email will be sent 24-48 hours before the event containing the waiver.

Donation Ticketing:

Donations encouraged to attend, but absolutely not required if a barrier. If this is a barrier to entry, please let us know at [email protected]. Donations will go to supporting Queer Mountaineers and future events.
