SheJumps | WILD SKILLS Junior Ski Patrol | Snoqualmie West, WA

Join us for SheJumps Wild Skills Junior Ski Patrol, a day camp at Snoqualmie West on Saturday, 03/28/2026. Girls will learn mountain safety and first aid while working with the strong women of Summit Snoqualmie Ski Patrol. This event is intended for intermediate to expert skiers/snowboarders ages 8-14.

This SheJumps Wild Skills event is structured as a full-day camp experience. Parents/legal guardians drop off participants for the day, who are then split into teams based on their skier ability. Throughout the day, participants are taught a range of outdoor skills that are utilized by ski patrollers to keep the mountain safe. We will work alongside patrollers and volunteers to learn more about the many facets of mountain safety and first aid.

SheJumps is an inclusive organization. We welcome all women and girls—transgender and cisgender, as well as non-binary people.

Cost: this event costs $50 and doesn’t include the cost of a lift ticket.

Lift Tickets: We have partnered with The Summit to offer discounted lift tickets for the event. We’ll send the lift ticket purchasing information to participants who have registered for the event.

Limited scholarships are available to help cover the cost of event registration.

Schedule for the Day*

On the day of the event, you’ll check in at registration which will be open from 8:30am PST at Snoqualmie West. At registration you will meet up with your team for the day. The teams will consist of 1 ski patroller, 2-3 SheJumps volunteers, and 8 participants of similar ski ability.

At 9:30am PST, we will start the day with an all teams morning meeting covering ski patrol basics, weather, and our agenda for the day.

From there teams will break out and proceed to their various stations throughout the mountain. Stations cover topics including first aid, mountain safety, toboggan use, weather and avalanche basics & prevention. Along the way there is free skiing, surprises and games, of course!

LUNCH: Bring your own lunch or purchase lunch. SheJumps volunteers and Patrol will be eating with the SheJumpers and supervising.

Pickup and drop off location to come! The Event will be hosting at Snoqaulmie West.

Timeline:

• 8:30 Registration Opens
• 9:30 Group picture followed up by morning meeting
• 10:00 All teams on mountain
• 11:00 Station Set
• 1:00 -1:45 Lunch
• 2:00: Avy Dogs and free ski
• 3:30-4: Awards/Check Out

Skier/Boarder Ability Level: This event is intended for intermediate to expert skiers & snowboarders. As part of the registration process, you will be asked a variety of questions about how confident the participant is on particular runs at Snoqualmie West to help us determine which group they are best suited for.

Lunch & snacks:

• Bring your own lunch or money to buy lunch.
• SheJumps will provide a small amount of snacks. If your child has food allergies or specific snacks they like, please have them bring their snacks with them.

Parking: $15 or free with and Ikon Pass.

Amenities: Gendered bathrooms are available.

Rentals: Summit at Snoqualmie has rentals available.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund on the ticket price. Optional donations made during registration will not be refunded.

Cancellations made within 3-6 days in advance of the event date will receive a 50% refund. Optional donations made during registration will not be refunded.

No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of the event, as this does not give us adequate time to fill the spot.
