Pottery is more than art—it’s an experience of mindfulness, self-care, and stress relief. Whether you're looking to unwind, boost creativity, or connect with others, this workshop is the perfect Valentine’s Day activity. Treat yourself, come with a friend, or join other singles for an evening of connection, inspiration, and creativity.

In this instructor-led workshop, you’ll learn hand-building pottery techniques to create a unique decorative or functional clay vessel. From shaping the clay to using the right tools, our expert instructor will guide you step by step to craft your masterpiece.

Event Duration: 2 hours

What’s Included:

• Instructor-led class (2 hours)
• All materials: clay, tools, aprons
• Two firings and glazing of your piece (color of your choice)
• Complimentary wine, non-alcoholic drinks, crackers, cheese, and pastries
• Notification and easy pickup once your piece is ready

The Aftermath:
Once your piece is created, our studio will take care of the finishing touches. Your work will first dry to a "bone-dry" state, then be bisque-fired. Afterward, our studio technician will glaze your piece with the color of your choice before a final glaze firing.

Lead time: Please allow 2–4 weeks for the process. You’ll receive a courtesy text when your piece is ready for pickup.

Important Note:
We can store finished pieces for up to two weeks after your first notification. Two reminder texts will be sent. After two weeks, unclaimed pieces will be donated.

Mercado Art Studio has proudly served the Hallandale Beach community for over two years, with a prior location in Downtown Hollywood for five years. Our studio is a creative hub offering:

• One-time beginner classes for wheel throwing, hand-building, pottery painting, and mosaic projects.
• Four- and eight-week courses for deeper exploration.
• Monthly memberships with unlimited studio access and storage lockers.
• Firing services for your clay creations.
• A retail store with beautiful handmade pottery, clay, and tools for purchase.

We offer free parking in front and behind the studio, conveniently located east of I-95 in Hallandale Beach.

Cancellation Policy:
We understand life happens! Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule your class.
