It's their 16th annual VA2K Walk and Roll, and will be held on May 20, 2026 - for Billings, it will be at https://www.va.gov/montana-health-care/locations/benjamin-charles-steele-va-clinic/
The annual VA2K event encourages people to live active lifestyles and allows participants to support homeless Veterans through voluntary donations of food and clothing items. VA medical centers around the nation are invited to participate in free, VA2K events which often includes a short two-kilometer walk (1.24 miles).
Here's how you can help! Can you swing by either the 2K itself, or by the VA, or by the VNN offices at 7 N 31st Street (HRDC building downtown) and make a donation?
Donation Items Requested
-Women’s t-shirts
-Full bottles of shampoo/conditioner
-Body wash
-Men’s and women’s deodorant
-Canned meats and other proteins
-Canned stews, chilis, soups
-Toothbrushes and full-size toothpastes
-Cash donations accepted
**Canned vegetables will not be accepted for donations due to overstock of this item**
