UWSP Department of Music Opera Outreach presents Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? - An engaging, short, family-friendly opera adaptation set to Mozart's "Don Giovanni" music where Little Red Riding Hood, the Three Little Pigs, and the Boy Who Cried Wolf unite to teach the bully Big Bad Wolf how to be a friend.This performance is open to all ages and FREE TO THE PUBLIC!
The UWSP Department of Music Opera community outreach program was created with the goal of fostering a sense of creativity, community-mindedness, and adaptability in our students. It provides UWSP students—many of whom are aspiring music educators—a unique opportunity to sing, direct, write, teach, and engage directly with young audiences.
Our primary mission is to make opera accessible to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience classical music. By bringing this production to our community, we aim to spark a love for music and introduce a new generation to the magic of opera, offering many their very first operatic experience.
