Saturday , September 13th I’m planning on doing community outreach for my bday. I volunteer with Meals On Onewheels . I’ve just asked if we can do our monthly outreach and I’d like to finish up near pioneer park area . Here’s where y’all would be amazing : I’ll plan to set up a small area (I’ve done it many times ) to offer up our time as barbers to give back to our community . Two , maybe three hours . You can donate your time or a little cash !
Most the time the people I’ve encountered just want their head shaved . Much like most of our first weeks on the floor at school ! I take as MANY precautions as possible . I’ve had to turn people away and I will be prepared with things like sanitizer and lice treatments. I’ll bring as many sets of clippers and trimmers as possible . Expect the worse and hope for the best. This isn’t for the faint of heart . It’s for others to have a small chance of hope and happiness. You might feel sorrow , but at the end your soul will feel FIFTY FEET TALL!
