PLEASE NOTE: This IS a MULTI DAY training! 💜 All FOUR classes are part of the training - you cannot choose to only come to one day.

We are *SUPER* excited to announce Misha's second Reiki 1 course of 2024 will be offered this coming September 2024 on Monday nights!
You asked and we listened...we are offering another evening weekday class for working folks to be able to join, spaced out so that there is lots of time for integration, practice, and feedback! And it will be recorded if you cannot make a class (but really please do try to be present for all of them!)
Cypress Pillar Usui Reiki is a truly lovely form of energy healing that was first founded in Japan in the late 1800's/early 1900's. The beautiful thing about this healing system is that *anyone* can do it, and Level 1 is perfect for folks to use to practice on themselves, their friends and family, and even plants and animals too. This level is rooted first in healing our Selves, and those who we love (level 2 and beyond looks to diving deeper into healing others, although you can absolutely use what you learn in Level 1 to benefit those you love ❤️)
Misha will be leading a deep dive in, with evenings of study goodness for those who would like to learn, or even re-learn, this gentle healing art.
Your experience will include:
* The what's and why's of Reiki - what is it, how does it work, and what is the science behind it (yes there IS science)
* A special lesson on Qi / Ki featuring our acupuncturist and Ki expert Dr. Brian Nell
* The history of Reiki with special imagery and materials brought back from Mt. Kurama, the sacred mountain upon which Reiki was first received by Dr. Usui
* Multiple attunements, given to Misha by the Spirits of the Mountain, spread out over the course of the immersion to ease you into the feel of the art. This offering of multiple Reiki attunements over time is in keeping with the traditional Japanese manner and one of the reasons we offer our Reiki trainings over several days.
* Meditations and exercises each week to help you expand your ability to feel, receive, and release energy. You will receive these via email after each class to help you study during the week.
* Introduction to self healing techniques, including Kenyoku-Ho, and the ability to share Reiki healing for friends and family including hand positions and "quick fixes" for common issues
* A interdisciplinary approach to learning using all the senses
* Hands on practice time (in person students - virtual students will be given direction over Zoom) - both on yourself and others in the class. And plenty of time for questions about your practices too!
* Tips on unique ways to use Reiki in your life, especially with self care and self healing
* A beautiful full color 20+ page manual, created with love by Misha, and *only* available to Cypress Pillar Reiki Students

And yes, our Reiki 1 is a little bit different than the normal way these courses are scheduled; ours is taught in a more traditional way using a multi-day immersion into this beautiful energy healing system.
Why multiple days when most trainings are either a few hours or 1 full day? After lots of planning, Misha felt that she'd really like to give this healing system, and the students who seek to learn it, the time it is due. It is a *lot* to try to understand, process, learn, get comfy with, and apply in a short period of time. While we honor each Master's own choice in how they present this material, Misha would like to offer an experience that is a bit different, a bit deeper, and infused with spaciousness to help you truly understand and fall in love with this practice. Misha's used her Master's Degree in Education and 25+ years of background in program & curriculum design to develop a study format that is intended to give the student every opportunity to both learn and practice during their training, and to do so at a pace that allows you to gain knowledge in a supportive hands on environment.

The Nitty Gritty:
Participants must attend each day in order to complete this course (watching the replay is ok if you cannot make it! But you will need to attend at least one class to receive your first attunement). All participants will receive multiple attunements, a certificate of completion, Cypress Pillar Usui Reiki Level 1 manual and self study guide to help support their learning and practice outside of the class, additional color handouts...plus a little bit of extra MishaMagic that will make the day extra special! And, yes, you will be officially certified as Level 1 Reiki Practitioners. Syllabus, preparation information and instructions on what to bring will be provided to students upon payment of deposit.

About Misha:
Reverend Misha Nell is a certified Reiki Master who been practicing Reiki since she first was attended to Level 1 in a tiny dorm room at New College, way back in 1997. Yes, Reiki can happen anywhere! Over twenty years later, she's studied with multiple teachers, researched lost traditions of the original Japanese teachings, and has made multiple pilgrimages to Japan to visit the sacred Mt Kurama, birthplace of Usui Reiki, to both learn and solidify her commitment and intentions as well as to follow her heart. Her next trip to Mt Kurama will be Aug 2024; her last trip was Nov 2023 so, yes, she is a "regular" connecting in, in person, with the beautiful energy of the mountain. Misha believes that Reiki is a gift that any person can learn, practice, and enjoy and she is excited to bring this training, taught through the lens of her own personal magic, to Sarasota.
