Join us at Down Dog Sedona for this in person experience in Sedona, Arizona where you will learn the ancient healing art of Reiki led by Reiki Master, Elle, who was taught by William Lee Rand, the founder and president of The International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) .

This training will cover the basics of energy healing and how to channel Reiki energy to promote balance and well-being. Whether you're new to Reiki or looking to deepen your practice, this event is perfect for anyone interested in holistic healing.

Elle holds Reiki sessions at her studio, on the sacred land in Sedona, as well as at the luxury spa Mii Amo, and now for the first time is offering this training to the community to share the gift of Reiki.

She is passionate about energy healing and has felt the calling to work with clearing blockages and believes that all of the systems are connected. If the energy channels are blocked it is more difficult for the physcial body to heal. By maintaining healthy energetic, emotional, and physical channels we can maintain balance and strive to be the best versions of ourselves.

Reiki I and II are taught together during a weekend intensive. Both attunements are given. All the information and techniques for both levels are covered including:

The Reiki hand positions.

Giving a complete Reiki treatment for self and others.

Japanese Reiki Techniques, as taught by Dr. Usui including:

Gassho meditation, Reiji-ho - developing your intuition, Byosen Scanning - detecting where Reiki is needed, Gyoshi ho - sending Reiki with the eyes, Koki ho - using the breath to send Reiki, Kenyoku - dry bathing or clearing ones energy field, Jacki-kiri Joka-ho, clearing objects of negative energy.

The class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using all the hand positions, the self-treatment, practice using all the level II symbols including distant healing, and practice using all the Japanese Reiki Techniques mentioned above. While practice takes place during the class, it is expected that you will set aside additional time to practice after the class is over.

Please commit to this additional time which should be one evening a week for several weeks, or its equivalent, to practice Reiki with one, or more, people from your Reiki class or with members of your family or friends.

This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to fully utilize the Reiki training. Your healing energy will grow over time as you continue to work with this ancient energy practice.
