Art in Motion: Embracing the Path of Peace

Every Sunday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm Arizona time, join artist Nicholas Kirsten-Honshin in the Gallery of the Ascending Spirit as he creates new work.

This week, Honshin explores the journey of peace – striving for a life of awakening, compassionate consciousness and a practice of meditation. Guided by artwork featuring mandalas, flowers, cranes, hummingbirds, and butterflies, we will dive into how these subjects can inform our own practice of “just being.” Meditation creates compassion, compassion creates peace, and peace creates the healing of your soul and the soul of the world.

Honshin’s art is a mythic amalgamation of ancient healing practices and present trends in spirituality, science, and nature. You can observe his process and converse with him in person during “Art in Motion.” This event is a perfect opportunity for art-lovers, curious souls, and anyone who appreciates culture to discuss what matters to them.

Visitors can also enjoy live music in the courtyard from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Arizona time.
