USCCA Basic Pistol CourseCost: $85
Lunch: Participants should bring their own lunch.
This class is designed for individuals who are new to handguns, have recently purchased their first handgun, or those looking to brush up on their fundamentals using modern methods. This course will be based on United States Concealed Carry Association curriculum and consist of classroom instruction and practical application exercises in a classroom and climate-controlled indoor range.
This one-day course will cover the following topics:
– Safe handling of firearms and how they function
– Loading and unloading a handgun
– Handgun marksmanship fundamentals
Students will be responsible for providing their own firearm, ammunition, and eye and ear protection. Firearms must arrive cased and separate from ammunition. Standard velocity (non-magnum) chamberings only.
This class is open to individuals 21 years of age and older who may legally possess a handgun. Attendees under 21 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is also attending the class. Children under the age of 18 may attend with permission from the course instructor and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
