On behalf of the YMCA of Greater San Antonio, we are excited to invite you to join us for the grand opening celebration of our new U.S. Soccer Foundation Mini-Pitch at the Harvey E. Najim Family YMCA.
This special event will bring together community leaders, partners, families, and youth to celebrate the power of sport to unite generations, promote healthy lifestyles, and create opportunities for young people to thrive.

- Opening drum performance by the World Heritage Center
- Welcome remarks from community and project partners, YMCA Leadership, and District 3 Councilwoman Phyllis Viagran
- Official ribbon-cutting ceremony
- First kick on the new mini-pitch
- Youth soccer activities and scrimmages
- Photo opportunities with community leaders and partners
This mini-pitch represents a significant investment in youth development and community wellness, creating a safe and accessible space where children and families can play, connect, and grow together.
