About this Event
Join the Energy, Growth, and Security Program at the International Tax and Investment Center for a lunch event hosted alongside the Jewish Policy Center discussing Central Asia's role in American foreign policy. Central Asia often receives low priority on the American strategic agenda. But the region, surrounded by China, Russia, Afghanistan, and Iran, is vital for future engagement between Washington and its rivals, Beijing and Moscow. It possesses abundant critical minerals and other energy resources, and its largely secular societies are willing to cooperate with the US and the West. The countries of Central Asia are natural partners for Israel and the Abraham Accords countries.
