About this Event
Spotlighting the Changing U.S. Trade Landscape
The Georgetown University Law Center and Institute of International Economic Law are hosting the Global Trade Academy, which will take place in person on November 5-7, 2025, in Washington, DC, at the law offices of King & Spalding. The Academy will meet live in the heart of the nationβs capital, bringing together participants from governments, IGOs, NGOs, and the private sector, and allowing attendees to meet and exchange views with leading experts as well as participants from around the world. This special edition of the Academy has been crafted for professionals who want to understand how to navigate today's fast-moving developments in U.S. trade law and policy.
The Global Trade Academy is an indispensable bootcamp offering participants an unparalleled deep dive into the most salient and complex legal and policy issues in trade. In light of the Trump Administration's recent trade actions, this fall's program has been thoughtfully redesigned to prepare participants to navigate the increasingly complex and rapidly changing U.S. trade landscape. The curriculum reflects emerging trends, geopolitical shifts, and new challenges at the intersection of innovation and regulation.
