UpCycle Ohio Thrift Store and Community Makerspace are thrilled to invite you to UpCycle Fest 2026! Join us Saturday, July 25th from 11a.m. - 5p.m. at 751 W. Union Street, Athens, Ohio. UpCycle Fest is a celebration of all things upcycled, second-hand, and handmade, and is free to the public to attend!
UpCycle Fest will have a range of activities for all ages, including:
Art Vendors: Shop handmade goods and art from local artists with a focus on upcycling and reused materials!
Community Art Project: Lend your artistic skills to a community painting project to be displayed at The Community Makerspace.
Hands-on Art Stations: Learn the process of screen printing shirts and mosaic from second-hand materials, and get a one-of-a-kind piece to take home!
Repair Stations: Local craftspeople will be available to offer small repairs and advice on a variety of items; including bikes, leather goods, clothing, and lamp repair.
Light refreshments and Water Refill Stations available on-site.
