Join us on Friday 6th March, as we celebrate International Women's Day with an afternoon of talks and panel discussions exploring this year's theme of 'Rights. Justice. Action.'!
Based on previous years, this event is expected to reach capacity. Priority will be given to those who have registered so don't miss out!

Keynote speaker: Professor Anna Slater
Info: We will be hearing from Professor Anna Slater, who holds a Personal Chair in Chemistry at the University of Liverpool. Her research focuses on supramolecular chemistry, molecular materials, and flow chemistry, for which she was awarded the RSC’s Harrison–Meldola Memorial Award in 2023.
Anna serves as Director of Research and Impact for the School of Physical Sciences and sits on the Management Team of the University of Liverpool’s CDT in Digital and Automated Materials Chemistry. She is Associate Editor for the RSC journal Molecular Systems Design & Engineering, serves on committees for the Royal Society and the RSC, and is a member of the International Advisory Board of WISC (Women in Supramolecular Chemistry). She is a Fellow of the Young Academy of Europe and holds Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. She was co-chair of the UK Research Staff Association, led national work on parental leave for researchers, and has spoken about barriers faced by mothers in academia.
