Join us for an evening celebrating Black culture in honor of GRAM’s newest acquisition, Pillars of the Frontier by Mario Moore. Enjoy small bites from Irie Kitchen, a cash bar, sounds by PJ DA DJ, and entry to Each year this blood shall change and blossom: Christopher Myers on Myth and Migration.During the program, discover the story behind Pillars of the Frontier and the North Star Legacy Group who made the acquisition possible, and learn about the growth of GRAM’s permanent collection with GRAM’s Curator of Collections and Exhibitions, Jennifer Wcisel, with remarks from Grand Rapids NPHC President/Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Dr. David Flowers.
