Be part of the 2026 season of Unto These Hills outdoor drama!Local auditions take place Saturday, January 24th at our main office from 2pm to 5pm
We're looking for enrolled members of federally recognized tribes to portray prominent figures in Cherokee history. No experience necessary. Training provided. All positions are paid weekly
For adults, there are speaking roles, non-speaking ensemble roles, and dance roles available.
For children, there are youth ensemble roles available, all of which are non-speaking. We generally hire children between the ages of 5 and 17. Teens may also be considered for dance roles
Not interested in being onstage? Apply for a backstage technical position. We hire various backstage positions, including child care providers, wardrobe crew members, lighting and audio crew members, props assistants, and general technicians.
The audition process is very easy and low-stress. When you arrive at the office, you'll sign in and fill out a short info sheet. Then you'll be given a short passage from the script to read in front of the Artistic Director
Rehearsals begin May 8th. Performances take place Monday through Saturday from May 30th through August 22nd. We work around our locals' job and school commitments to the best of our ability. Locals are expected to be at all evening rehearsals and performances
