Movie Night: Wildfire Awareness & Community Discussion

Join us for an in-person evening featuring the eye-opening movie, Incandescence. This powerful documentary from award-winning filmmakers Nova Ami and Velcrow Ripper (Metamorphosis) weaves together immersive footage and deeply personal accounts from Indigenous Elders, first responders, and local evacuees in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. Incandescence is the first in a series of Awareness movies at Unity of New Westminster.

• The Screening: Join us in our Sanctuary for the film presentation.
• Discussion & Refreshments: After the film, we will head down to the community hall for discussions where we can share stories, tips, and ideas to keep our neighborhoods safe. Refreshments will be provided!
