We have traditionally sponsored a night at the theatre in collaboration with American Stage, and after a brief hiatus we're back! Join us for this production of "The Hot Wing King," Katori Hall's most recent work for the stage, and which won the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
It's time for the annual "Hot Wang Festival” in Memphis, TN, and Cordell Crutchfield is spicing up the competition with wings worthy of a crown! With his partner Dwayne and their crew, The New Wing Order, Codell is marinating magic and firing up his frying pan for the win. When Dwayne takes in his troubled nephew, things start to simmer over. Suddenly, there’s more at stake than just the Trophy. Will Cordell keep it all together?
Reception is at 6:30pm -- Performance starts at 8:00pm. Join us for the pre-game, we'll have light refreshments.
