UNIFY USA Veterans Day Flag Run, Virginia Beach VA
About this Event
Come run or walk with us in honor of the men and women who served this country.
On Saturday, November 14 at 12 PM, UNIFY USA Virginia Beach, led by Lexi Royal, is carrying American flags around Mount Trashmore Park in Virginia Beach. It is not a race. Nobody gets left behind. Some run, some walk, and we finish together.
This is a local chapter event. It is organized and led by Lexi Royal. Teagan and Koston will not be at this one.
What to expect
- 12 PM. Meet at the red Start and End circle on the map below, on the lake side of Mount Trashmore near shelter S1
- Parking: the closest lots to the start are P2, P3 and P1 on the map. If those are full, P4, P5 and P6 are just a little further of a walk
- Check in with your RSVP and meet the people around you
- A quick welcome from Lexi Royal, then we move out together
- We all ruck the first mile together, following the black arrows
- At mile one, runners take off on the red arrows and follow them back to the start
- Walkers stay on the black arrows for another half mile and meet the runners back at the start
- We finish together, right where we started
What to bring
- An American or military flag. Those are the only flags we fly.
- Water and comfortable shoes
- Kids, parents, grandparents, friends. Bring anyone you love
This is a nonpartisan event, so leave the political gear at home.
It's free
