About this Event

African Women Leading Clean Cooking (AWLCC) is a women-led African initiative focused on helping women and communities transition from the traditional polluting cooking method into a cleaner sustainable cooking solution.

The launch is a 3-hour high-level event focused on advancing women’s leadership in Africa’s position as a leader in addressing the Global Clean Cooking Challenge. It will highlight African-led solutions, innovations, investments, and women’s leadership in driving a sustainable clean cooking transition.

The launch aims at having key stakeholders in clean cooking discuss and come with One Voice agreement where Africans take a global lead in solving our problem and transition ourselves into a cleaner and safer sustainable solution.
