MISHA Meet-up NYC: MISHA x METRO x NYU Libraries at Bobst Library!

Join colleagues from libraries, archives, museums, and cultural heritage organizations for a hands-on introduction to MISHA (Multispectral Imaging System for Historical Artifacts), a low-cost, open-source imaging platform developed by Rochester Institute of Technology’s Cultural Heritage Imaging Lab that is transforming access to cultural heritage collections. Through live demonstrations and discussion, participants will explore how multispectral imaging can support preservation, reveal hidden information, advance research, and expand public access to historical materials.

The day will begin with setup and preparation of the MISHA systems in Bobst Library's Room 743, followed by a morning session designed for cultural heritage professionals from across the New York City region.

A second session for the NYU community will begin at 2 pm.
