Join us this summer for the 2026 Summer Reading Program. Events will be held on Wednesday afternoons at 4:00 PM in the Ham Room starting June 24th to July 29th. Please note that during the summer, our park project will be underway, making the park unavailable.
This year's theme, "Unearth a Story" focuses on dinosaurs, paleontology, and archaeology, fostering curiosity through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and the humanities. Libraries can use this theme to host community events and collaborate with local museums, encouraging discovery and storytelling.
Join us for an engaging, hilarious, interactive presentation with New Hampshire children’s author Marty Kelley. Discover the creative process of bringing a story to life—from shaping the ideas in your imagination to putting them on the page and developing the illustrations that follow.
Marty will share firsthand examples of his approach, creating an experience that’s both entertaining and inspiring for kids and adults alike. You’ll leave with a renewed appreciation for the art of writing and a rekindled passion to create stories of your own.
