Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation (SMIF) is hosting two free, hybrid financial management workshops taught by Eric Stone of Stone’s Bookkeeping. Attend one or both trainings!
Join us for an informative workshop designed to help you understand essential accounting topics where you’ll learn:
- best practices for organizing and maintaining your financial records,
- strategies to understand your tax obligations and maximize deductions for your business,
- and the critical differences between assets and expenses and how to categorize them effectively.
Additionally, you’ll gain an overview of cost of goods sold (COGS) to better understand drivers of profitability, payroll management, bank account management and considerations for credit cards and loans.
Register by June 23 at 4:30 p.m.! RSVPs are required. Please note if you will be attending virtually or in person. If you have questions, please reach out to Lending Director Molly Bartels Roth at [email protected].
