About the programme
A nation’s culture is the pulse of its life. When it beats steadily, we thrive; when it falters, we suffer. To safeguard society’s health and cure its needless ailments, we must understand our culture. Across our nation’s long history, vast expanse, and immense complexity, it is Indian culture that has bound people together. This five-day lecture series offers a simple introduction to its essence—an overview of ancient concepts, ways of applying them to our own times, and a discussion of some questions we face today.

About the programme
