We’re back after three years—thanks to BBMP for ripping apart the roads and pavements. Now, we’re finally returning to the leafy lanes of Fraser Town.

Far removed from the bustle of the old Pete, Fraser Town, Coles Park and Cleveland Town reveal the people and communities that helped shape modern Bengaluru. We wander past century-old homes and institutions, uncovering remarkable heritage buildings, forgotten stories and the philanthropic legacies of those who lived here.

We also explore the remarkable contribution of Bengaluru’s Anglo-Indian community—to its food, education, institutions and distinctive urban culture.

Along the way, we visit a historic church, a legendary bakery, a heritage school and a traditional mutt, each offering a glimpse into the Cantonment’s multicultural past. We’ll also explore its distinctive food traditions and the communities that have kept them alive.
