The 12th Annual Understanding and Responding to Mass Incarceration (URMI) Conference returns Friday, April 10 with "URMI 2026: End Slavery in Minnesota Prisons."
Under Article I, Section 2 of the Minnesota Constitution, incarcerated individuals are legally classified as SLAVES. Join us for a day of truth, testimony, and transformation. Hear the voices of incarcerated workers and families, engage with expert panels, and participate in breakout sessions. Public awareness; legislative action; voter power!
