Virginia Zerpa, a Venezuela native, became a U.S. citizen in 1997, the same year she earned her master’s in public health. She has worked across a range of public health issues, joining the Alzheimer’s Association in 2011. There, she provides care consultations, dementia education, and outreach. Her prior work includes roles with the Milwaukee Health Department, Planned Parenthood, Sixteenth Street Health Center, and the Urban Population Health Center, where she supported programs in community health.
