Kevin Allen's cinematic rendition of Dylan Thomas' magical fusion of poetry and prose is a funny, sweaty, bawdy, hyperactive, highly-coloured fever dream. The perfect film to accompany the atmospherics of the Grand.
"This goat-beard of a film will tickle you to the middle of your world like a tuft of wiry fire. Allen's adaptation is a fabulous visualisation with a genuine sense of poignancy." Mark Kermode'
Released 30 October 2015 (UK)
Director Kevin Allen
Screenplay Kevin Allen, Michael Breen, Murray Lachlan Young
