Uncover the Terroir: The Grandeur of Vintage Champagne
About this Event
Journey through the history and character of three distinctive Champagne houses, from Lanson, the third oldest champagne houses, to Collet’s century-long grower heritage and the more recent artisanal vision of Frèrejean Frères.
This guided tasting offers an intimate look at three different approaches to Champagne, from a historic maison to an independent grower-founded house and a modern artisanal producer.
Wines featured:
1. Champagne Lanson Le Vintage 2014
Refined and vibrant, with candied citrus, nougat, praline and marzipan, finishing with delicate freshness.
2. Champagne Collet Millésime 2016
Creamy and elegant, layered with fresh pastry, toasted nuts, orchard fruit and subtle brioche.
3. Frèrejean Frères Cuvée des Hussards 2012
Rich and expressive, revealing candied citrus, hazelnut, dried flowers and apple with lively acidity.
