UNC will be hosting the Annual Homecoming 5K Run/Walk.
Come out and celebrate this year's homecoming by participating in a run or walk in a great atmosphere on the wonderful campus of UNC! Gear up in blue and gold and celebrate what it means to be a Bear!

Race Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026

Times:

• Check-In / Registration Starts at 7 a.m.
• Race Starts at 8 a.m.

Online Registration, Before the Day of the Event:

• Registration + Shirt + Food = $20 per registration.

Day-Of Registration, In-Person:

• Registration + Shirt + Food = $30 per registration: If we do not have a shirt available in your size at the day-of-the-event, we can order you a shirt that can be picked up at the Rec Center at a later date.

T-Shirt Order and Race Category:

• Please select your T-shirt Size at the end of your registration. The t-shirts are a white cotton blend unisex style shirt with the 5K logo on the front (small) and on the back (large).
• Please also select your Race Category (Male, Female, Open) if you would like to compete for a prize. Winners can win a $25 Gift Card from SCHEELS!
