About this Event

UNBOUND: From Spine to Sound
What becomes possible when you stop holding yourself back?

UNBOUND is a 2-hour immersive, live-scored journey through breath, body, voice and music — created by somatic practitioner, founder of MYLLR, professional musician and composer Lindsey Miller, and professional performer, musician and composer Rhianna Compton.

This is not your typical wellness workshop. And it’s not a gig either.

It sits somewhere in between.

Through Conscious Connected Breathwork, Spinal Energetics, Conscious Voice, live music and improvisation, we’ll explore what happens when we move beyond the thinking mind, listen more deeply to the body and give ourselves permission to breathe, feel, sound and express.

And at the centre of the experience is something very special: the music is happening live.

Rather than practising to a pre-recorded playlist, Lindsey and Rhianna will create and improvise a live score in real time, responding to the energy, breath, voices and experience of the room. No two sessions can ever sound — or feel — quite the same.
Thrilling, unique and wildly releasing. This is an event not-to-be-missed!

FROM SPINE TO SOUND

We spend so much of our lives holding.

Holding tension in the body. Holding our breath. Holding back emotion. Holding our voices. Holding ourselves together.

Sometimes those patterns have been there for so long that we don't even realise we're doing it.

UNBOUND is an invitation to explore what happens when we create enough space and safety for some of that holding to soften.

We’ll begin with Conscious Connected Breathwork, using the breath to move out of habitual patterns and deepen our connection with the body.

From there, Spinal Energetics invites us into an even deeper conversation with the nervous system and body — creating space for spontaneous movement, sensation, emotion, stillness or release without forcing the body towards any particular outcome.

Through Conscious Voice, we’ll begin to explore sound beyond performance: loosening expectations of what your voice should sound like and becoming curious about the sound that emerges when you stop trying to make it beautiful, correct or controlled.

You do not need to be a singer. There is nothing to get right.

This is voice as expression. Voice as sensation. Voice as connection.

And throughout it all, live music will respond to what is unfolding in the room — moving between composed soundscapes and improvisation to create an experience that exists only once, with the people who are there.

MORE THAN AN INDIVIDUAL EXPERIENCE

There is something powerful about doing this work together.

Breathing together. Hearing other voices. Being witnessed without needing to perform. Feeling your own experience while also becoming part of something larger.

UNBOUND is ultimately an exploration of connection, expression and possibility — with your body, your voice, the people around you and perhaps parts of yourself you haven't heard from in a while.

You don't need any previous experience of breathwork, Spinal Energetics, somatic practices or voice work.

Just curiosity.

Come as you are.

Let’s see what becomes possible when you stop holding yourself back.

About Rhianna

Rhianna's practice is rooted in voice, improvised music and embodied movement. She is a singer and associate movement director for NYX Electronic Drone Choir, a collective exploring the voice as an instrument through acoustic and electronic self-modulation. As an actor, she has worked with internationally renowned companies including the Royal Shakespeare Company and Song of the Goat Theatre, alongside creating her own work. She has toured internationally singing across many forms, including, new opera, Irish keening, polyphony and Gregorian and Ancient Greek chant, singing in over ten languages. Most recently, she is creating her own compositions to score short films and theatre productions.

Facilitating workshops and creating spaces for exploration is integral to her work, bringing together physical theatre training with live scoring and vocal release.

About Lindsey

Lindsey Miller is a somatic practitioner, professional musician, composer and founder of wellness brand MYLLR. Her work explores the intersection of the nervous system, energy, breath, voice and music, creating experiences that invite people out of the thinking mind and into deeper connection with the body.

A qualified Spinal Energetics practitioner, Reiki therapist and Breathwork Facilitator, Lindsey is also the creator of Conscious Voice — her own evolving methodology combining somatic and trauma-informed practices with more than 16 years of professional experience working with music and the voice.

Alongside her wellness work, Lindsey has built an international career as a musical director and composer, collaborating with organisations including the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre and English National Ballet. This background gives her work a distinctive musical dimension, using live sound, improvisation and the voice not simply as accompaniment, but as an integral part of the experience.

Having lived and worked around the world, Lindsey now facilitates sessions, workshops and immersive experiences internationally, supporting people to explore their nervous systems, reconnect with their bodies and discover new possibilities for expression, connection and change.

Her approach is grounded in curiosity rather than performance: there is nothing to achieve, nothing to get right and no particular experience you are expected to have.

The body leads. We listen.
