Ballet Class with a West End Twist
About this Event
🩰 This is still very much a ballet class, but with a West End twist. Expect themed exercises, character-inspired movement, and perhaps having to dance with a prop or two. No singing is involved (although if you happen to burst into song mid-exercise, you certainly will not be the first).
You can expect a touch of friendly rivalry in our Wicked-inspired exercise 🩷💚, a feline-inspired allegro courtesy of Cats 😺, and learning the fate of Henry VIII's six wives from Six 👑 (if you do not know already).
MEET YOUR TEACHER
The class will be taught by Ana Ramos, a ballet teacher with over 20 years of international teaching experience and many years of teaching adult ballet.
If you have taken classes with her before, you will know that she loves creating classes that are enjoyable (and maybe even a bit funky) and that have a bit of a challenge. She is passionate about helping dancers of all levels feel confident and inspired by ballet.
CLASS SCHEDULE
- 10:00–11:25am | Intermediate & Advanced level
For dancers with previous ballet experience.
- 11:30–12:55 | Beginners & Improvers
Perfect for adults with little or no ballet experience, as well as improvers.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Ages 16+ and adults
• Wear whatever you like! Ballet shoes recommended.
