Umbrales (Prahy) představuje výběr obrazů, které vznikají z dlouhodobé praxe pozorování, naslouchání a objevování. Prostřednictvím barvy, gesta a materiálu se obrazy snaží otevřít prostor pro vztah ke světu a zároveň připomínají, že každé vnímání je utvářeno hranicemi lidské zkušenosti. Místo jediné interpretace zvou diváka ke zpomalení, pozornému pohledu a k tomu, aby každý obraz mohl odhalit své vlastní významy.

Umbrales (Thresholds) brings together a selection of paintings that emerge from an ongoing practice of observation, listening, and exploration. Through colour, gesture, and material, the works seek to open a space for relating to the world, acknowledging that every act of perception is shaped by the limits of human experience. Rather than offering a single interpretation, they invite viewers to pause, look closely, and allow each work to reveal its own meanings.

Laura Victoria Delgado is a Colombian-Czech artist and researcher based in Prague. Working across painting, drawing, and animation, her practice explores forms of attention, perception, and relationships with the living world.

Umbrales reúne una selección de pinturas que surgen de una práctica de observación, escucha y exploración. A través del color, el gesto y la materia, las obras buscan abrir un espacio de relación con el mundo, reconociendo que toda percepción está atravesada por los límites de la experiencia humana. Más que ofrecer una lectura única, invitan a detenerse, observar y dejar que cada obra revele sus propios sentidos.
