ULI SCHEMPP: The Experimental Spirit

Join us for the opening night reception for ceramicist Uli Schempp. Uli has spent over 40 years exploring the connection between art and the human spirit. With an MFA from UNC Greensboro and a Master’s in Art Therapy from NYU, he has spent his career teaching at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York and working as a clinical counselor.

Whether working with refugee children or in psychiatric care, Uli’s motivation remains the same: to help people reach their full potential through creativity. This exhibition is a look at his own journey through stoneware, raku, and decades of experiments.
