About this Event
Welcome to the Ukrainian Cooking Class!
Come join us at 3078 Plantation Cir and learn how to cook traditional Ukrainian dishes. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned chef, this class is perfect for anyone looking to expand their culinary skills.
During the class, you'll have the opportunity to learn from from our community guest chef, Page Thorn, who will guide you through the process of creating delicious Ukrainian delicacies. From borscht to Kurabiye, you'll get hands-on experience making authentic dishes that you can enjoy with friends and family.
Menu: Appetizer-charcuterie style board with cheese topped tomatoes, cucumbers and rye bread. Main-Traditional Borsch, Garlic Pampushky, Halushky with sour cherries. Dessert-Kurabiye (shortbread cookies with jam),
There will be a wine pairing.

About the chef: Page Thorn is a MS native who spent 13 summers in Ukraine with her family as a summer missionary. She loves sharing her love of Ukrainian culture and cuisine. She is now an Assistant Mathematics Professor at Blue Mountain Christian University. Page has taught many classes for Cooking as a First Language and always does an exceptional job! You don't want to miss this one!
