We are coming together to celebrate, honor, and support our veteran community, and we want YOU to be a part of it!
1 - Flag Raising Ceremony: Join us as we kick off the day with our annual ceremony to honor those who served.
2 - Nation to Neighborhood: Meet and celebrate our newest veteran honoree, UIC CUPPA/UIC Alumni/UIC Deputy Chief Police Officer, Jason Huertas!
3 - Heroes Helping Food Drive: Let's pack the UIC Flames Food Pantry! We are collecting healthy food options to support our community.
4 - Messages of Gratitude: Write a personalized card to bring encouragement and smiles to patients at the Jesse Brown Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
This event is free and open to the public. Every donation, every card, and every presence makes a difference. Let’s show our veterans the appreciation they deserve! Enjoy a cupcake and hot apple cider at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Can't make it to the ceremony, we will be collecting food donations and cards at the Cisar Student Veterans Center through Friday, November 13 on the 2nd floor in room 248.
