Our children are destined to achieve. Learning to set goals at an early age teaches them to start to take responsibility for their future. Our young people will learn that every action has a reaction, which can be either positive or negative.

On this fun “Inspiring our Young People for success workshop” the children will learn how to set goals; make them realistic; review their progress and so much more…..

The children will create vision boards with their goals and dreams (customised). They will learn the skills and values to achieving them. The young people can bring along personal pictures, affirmations, quotes that will increase their focus. The young people can also bring their own mobile devices (laptops, tablets), as they will learn how to search and customise online pictures before they are printed.

The vision board should be placed somewhere where the child can see it first thing in the morning and last thing before bedtime so it becomes a reminder of their future plans.

This workshop is delivered primarily through a number of fun activities. Our young people will develop inner qualities in other areas of life, such as social skills, and how to express themselves better. This workshop also introduces finance in a fun and simple way.

Our young people will also learn basic financial literacy, including traditional saving methods such as ‘Pardner’.

What should your child prepare or bring to the workshop?

• Completed consent form.

• Pack lunch.

• Bring own internet accessible device (if you have one) as we have a limited supply.

Our group have been working in the Chapeltown, Leeds community area (Chapel Allerton Ward), since March 2015. We are a community organisation which is managed by members from the local community.
