🌿 Tūpuna Parenting Foundations Hastings🌿Our 8-week kaupapa is a space to reconnect, remember, and reweave the ways of our tūpuna into modern-day parenting.
Tūpuna Parenting Foundations is a kaupapa Māori wānanga created to support māmā, pāpā, and whānau as they journey through hapūtanga, birth, and the early years of raising pēpi and tamariki.
This wānanga is grounded in mātauranga Māori and the wisdom of our tūpuna, while recognising the realities and challenges of whānau today.
Together, we create a safe, nurturing space where kōrero flows, relationships are built, and whānau are encouraged.
What to expect
🌱 Tūpuna kōrero shared through pūrākau
🌱 Whanaungatanga and shared learning
🌱 Exploration of tūpuna parenting principles
🌱 Practical whakaaro you can apply in everyday whānau life
🌱 A space that honours both lived experience and cultural reconnection
You don’t need to have prior knowledge of te ao Māori or tikanga. This wānanga welcomes whānau from all backgrounds who are open to learning, listening, and growing together.
