TYP Connects | The Art of Connection: Networking without the Cringe

This month, Hughes Federal Credit Union and The Arizona Alumni Association are partnering with TYP to explore the complex world of professional networking.

Whether you are an established careerist or a recent GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) alumni stepping into the professional world, networking doesn't have to feel forced or transactional. This September, we are ditching the elevator pitches and breaking the ice with authenticity. We will be sharing our professional fumbles, funny missteps, and eventual successes in an open, relaxed environment.

We want to create a space where everyone feels empowered to share freely and open up to new possibilities. By leaning into our genuine, shared experiences...both the triumphs and the trip-ups...we discover that authenticity is the ultimate key to cutting through the cringe and building lasting, meaningful professional relationships.

• A casual, interactive "cringe confessional hour" where attendees can share their relatable professional failures and lessons learned
• A welcoming environment intentionally designed to connect recent UA graduates with established Tucson professionals
• Delicious local food provided by Reilly's Craft Pizza
