Two-Day Wheel Throwing Pottery Course

I am excited to be teaching a wheel throwing class at Kumeū Arts in July and again in August, join us if live close by.
In this beginner-friendly two-day course, you will learn wheel throwing by creating three or four small bowls—one of the easiest forms to master on the wheel. Day one focuses on throwing these bowls. Your pieces will dry overnight, ready for trimming and refining on day two.
The class is designed for beginners; no prior wheel experience is required.
What to bring: an apron or ‘mucky clothes’, Lunch/snack box - you will have a chance to eat while rotating at the wheel.
Costs include clay, glazes, and kiln firings.
